Hill Cottage - Isle of Skye

parkcottageskye.co.uk

Hill Cottage is a 2 bedroom cottage which has been given a 4 star grading by VisitScotland.
It is in a very private, beautiful spot with outstanding scenery looking out the loch towards Harris in the Outer Isles. The view, light and colours are fascinating, even when the weather is not so good!
The cottage has oak finishings, is extremely comfortable, homely and well equipped, including wifi.
The hot water and underfloor heating throughout are supplied by renewable energy from solar panels and an air source unit combination. This provides a lovely even temperature throughout due to the warmth from the entire floor area and the thermostats in each room.
Hill Cottage sits on top of a hill above Park Cottage but is quite separate and private as neither cottage is visible from the other.

Hill Cottage takes a maximum of 4 people including children of 10 and over

** Sorry but I do not allow pets in either cottage **

There is a large and very well equipped kitchen including dish towels, washing up liquid, soap powder, paper towel, tea, coffee, etc.
The sitting room has a leather 3 piece suite, natural stone fireplace with a log burning stove and plenty logs. TV with a freesat, dvd player, hifi and wifi.
The dining room has an extending dining table with 4 chairs.
The main bedroom has a kingsize bed with a lovely big ensuite shower room. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. Both have a dressing table, hairdryer and wall mounted TV.
All bed linen and towels are provided.
There is also a big walk in shower in the second toilet/shower room.

The cottage can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably (including youngsters aged 10 or older) and I do not anticipate more than 4 people staying at any one time
Although very well appointed, homely and cosy throughout with oak finishings and underfloor heating controlled in each room individually, the outstanding feature of this cottage is the scenery to the front which can be seen from all the public and bedrooms.
